Don Jones has won both divisions of the "Home of the Legends International Thumbpicking Championship" in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, and the "National Thumpicking Competition" in Mountain View, Arkansas.  He has won several other awards for his abilities as well.   Don is an annual showcase performer at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society in Nashville, TN.  In 2003 Don was the Feature concert artist in the Festival Guitarest at the Centre Culturel Albert Camus in Issoudun, France.
